I’m Anni, an artist illustrator and a designer. Currently based in Tampere, originally from South Karelia, Finland. I grew up adventuring in the forest and exploring the wonders of nature. The magic of nature inspires me everyday. I am currently working with digital illustrations, art paintings (acrylic / gouache on canvas) and writing creative texts. I am always eager to learn new skills in my creative practice.

In 2024 I took my career as an artist illustrator to a different level and now work as a freelancer. Luckily, I did not have to start completely from scratch, I have a bachelor’s degree in Arts (Art and design) from Aalto University (2021). During my studies I specialized in sustainable design and circular economy, which are important values for me.

I have a versatile experience working in the creative field. Already during my teenage years I wrote and illustrated articles for a local newspaper Etelä-Saimaa and later worked as a guest columnist for them. Since then, I’ve learned a lot about the practical side of the creative industry through organizing exhibitions and events, working with responsibility communication and project work, writing and illustrating for in- and outside of the house communication purposes and creating social media content. Inspired by all this, the love for creativity remains.
